TWO OPPORTUNITIES TO BECOME A MBSAT TEACHER

 

MBSAT Teacher Training (MBSAT-TT) Europe

 

The first intake of MBSAT TT in Europe was successfully completed end of 2018 under the aegis of IE University, Madrid, Spain. The entire cohort from all over the world (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Middle East) concluded all modules that took place near Barcelona, Spain, and near Zurich, Switzerland.

In 2020, there will be two programs in parallel: the MBSAT TT Europe near Zurich, Switzerland, and the MBSAT TT Asia in Phuket, Thailand (please see below).

This time, the MBSAT TT Europe will be under the aegis of Singapore Management University SMU. SMU is the most prestigious and fastest growing business school in South-East Asia and is an excellent match for MBSAT, a protocol for mindfulness in the workplace and in organizations.

The first one-week module of the MBSAT TT Europe will take place in July (12-18 July) and the second end of November (29 Nov.- 5 Dec.).

MBSAT Teacher Training (MBSAT-TT) Asia

 

The second intake of MBSAT TT is currently taking place under the aegis of Singapore Management University SMU. Therefore, in 2019 the participants from USA, Latin America and the Middle East have registered with SMU and the modules are located in Phuket, Thailand.

In 2020, the MBSAT TT Asia will follow the same blueprint. It will take place under the aegis of Singapore Management University SMU and the two one-week modules will be located in Phuket, Thailand, from 7-13 June 2020 and 15-21 November 2020 respectively.

The Teachers of the MBSAT Teacher Training

 

In 2020, both the MBSAT TT Europe and the MBSAT TT Asia will be co-led by Dr Juan Humberto Young and Professor Jochen Reb, the founder and director of Mindfulness Initiative at Singapore Management University SMU – MI@SMU.

Professor Reb teaches organizational development at SMU. His research focus is mindful leadership and mindful decision-making. He is co-editor of the book, “Mindfulness in Organizations” (Cambridge University Press 2015) and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and chapters.

Juan H. Young and Jochen Reb form an outstanding instructor team combining business experience in leading positions with science, research expertise and decades of mindfulness practice.
