TWO PROGRAMS OF MBSAT TEACHER TRAINING COMPLETED

MBSAT Teacher Training (MBSAT-TT) Europe 2018

 

The first intake of MBSAT TT in Europe was successfully completed end of 2018 under the aegis of IE University, Madrid, Spain. The entire cohort from all over the world (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Middle East) concluded all modules that took place near Barcelona, Spain, and near Zurich and Bern, Switzerland.

The second intake of MBSAT TT has taken place under the aegis of Singapore Management University SMU. It has again been a very diverse group with participants from USA, Latin America, Middle East, Korea, Singapore and Malaysia. The modules were located in Phuket, Thailand. All participants have concluded the full program and are in the process of teaching their first full program to gain the qualification as “Certified MBSAT Teacher” to be issued by Singapore Management University.

The MBSAT TT is co-led by Dr Juan Humberto Young and Professor Jochen Reb, the founder and director of Mindfulness Initiative at Singapore Management University SMU – MI@SMU.

Professor Reb teaches organizational development at SMU. His research focus is mindful leadership and mindful decision-making. He is co-editor of the book, “Mindfulness in Organizations” (Cambridge University Press 2015) and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and chapters.

Juan H. Young and Jochen Reb form an outstanding instructor team combining business experience in leading positions with science, research expertise and decades of mindfulness practice. For more information on Juan H. Young, please, see “About” on this website.
